Congrats to everyone for surviving through what seems like a never ending spell of horrifyingly stressful and tiring weeks! This week's almost over, let's hope next week's better!

Anyway, with regarads to the coming few weeks, there's lots planned for us. So, GET READY!!! :D We gotta stay the happy happy class we are yozzz, we cannot fizzle out and die cause of stress!!! NO NO NO, that ain't not gonna happen to the every happy, ever fun & ever ready one threeeeeeee, yay! :D omg, chinese is totally glycosizling my brain and digesting eat mann.

Okay anyway, justttt to remind y'allz what's in store for the most awesome class in the world! :D

Thanks to everyone who made it so special: from sweets, to chocolates, to cookies, to roses, to cake! ! ! Way to go peeps:) I don't think I've ever had a Valentines quite like this one.. hurray!Too bad we didn't take pics with the lovely (and very manly) roses we were all given:) Ah well.. I'm sure we'll all remember that Friday the 13th haha!

Ok things are really starting to get busy with SL, CI starting soon, and of course, tests. Come on 13 lets do our best in lessons and study hard. Take it a day at a time and don't waste any of our precious time:)

Another thing! Please approach Yong Wei if you want or know that you can really do a smashing job in one of the various committees which are in the making!-read as: go talk to Yong Wei about the committees when you have time:)- (class wall idea/project is really starting to shape up!)

Hurray for useful posts! Its been so long since I posted on the class blog, I think my guilty conscience beckoned me to post something (useful, hopefully) :)
Just a few things on my mind...

I'm really sorry, and I'm sure I speak for the rest of the OGLs.. that I'm unable to come for the class picnic:( You guys are most certainly gonna have a blast though, so all the best with the planning; and full cooperation and participation from you guys that day is gonna be key k:) If we're lucky I'll use my awesome NINJA skills to very sneakily sneak away like a sneak wearing sneakers, sneakily (cuz thats the only way to wear sneakers after all) and pop by for a visit.
Or you guys can come by on your bikes, grab me from my OG and run (or cycle!) off! Then I can say I was taken by force, and ungainst my own will:) Of course you have to let me say goodbye to my OG first, bcuz they are good and fun people and deserve to be warned before the NINJA power of v13 is unleashed:)
Sounds like a plan right? Right:)

Oh.. and also, lets prioritize (meaning get out deadlines and *IDEAS* as soon as possible) shall we! Some of the top things for us are,
- Class wall
- Communication network
- Different committees (blog, outings, etc..)
- Music (for all our evil purposes.. email to me, Mark please.. yes I will take over the world with YOUR music:) )
- Study groups (please.. if you haven't heard, I have a passive -5 to knowledege, help yourself by helping others :) )
- Class slogan! *last year's was "you're missing out", lets come up with one for this year too!"

Righto.. looks like we're busy busy people, and we're never gonna get these things accomplished if y'all don't give your ideas:) So shoot 'em up v13! Yeh!

P.S. - The books thingy was a great idea, lets all work together (and fast!) to make it something worthwhile and memorable!
hahaha so ive gotten a few requests to put details of our class cip on to the class blog. Cool right, our class is the only class with a class cip. yayness! okay so here are the details:

beneficiary: Adult Education Center

Date of completion: 19th february (20th feb a van will come to pick up all the books)

Objectives: to collect books from students at VJC to start a library at the Adult Education Center. They AEC will need books to fill up shelves at the library of the newly completed compound, after renovation. Through this, we hope to not only provide the students there with learning material to teach them how to read, but also to instil in them a love and passion for books.

Additional information: all kinds of books can be collected.

DUTY ALLOCATIONS:
PUBLICITY

Valerie (leader), Vivian, Charissa and Yiying : put together slideshow for announcements + book slots for announcement on Thursday (IP assembly) and Friday (school assembly).. if possible?

Lynn and Melissa : one page slideshow thingy to screen on plasma screen by Friday.

Aishah (leader), Rachelle, Annabel, Tianyang, Shiyue : making posters + putting them up everywhere. By Friday.

Ipsita, Liu Te, Jaime and Shumin (leader): Set up book stands + manning timetable

KARANG GUNI PEOPLE
Sakif (leader), Bruce, Fred, Yongwei, Josiah, Andrew : Picking up books from collection stands and collecting cardboard boxes

Mark, Zhiyong, Karthi, Rish (leader), Abdul Rahman and David: packing and organizing books into categories.
